TRIPLE at the “Realising the European Open Science Cloud” event

TRIPLE-SSHOC Workshop

On 17 November, 14:00 – 15:30 CET, there will be a joint workshop organised by TRIPLE and SSHOC, “Exploring the SSH data landscape: thematic discovery portals in the EOSC”, chaired by Laure Barbot and Yoann Moranville from TRIPLE partner DARIAH.

This workshop is an opportunity to connect two discovery portals for social sciences and humanities resources that are developed in the EOSC context via the SSHOC and the TRIPLE projects: the SSH Open Marketplace and the GOTRIPLE platform. During this event, we will investigate synergies and collaborations and talk about how to avoid data silos. The main objectives of this workshop are to:

Address the way GOTRIPLE and the SSH Open Marketplace are dealing with SSH data, especially with datasets and publications
Involve people from the technical teams of both projects to explore the ways we could envision to connect the two platforms
Share expertise

TRIPLE in a nutshell

At the heart of the TRIPLE project is the development of an innovative multilingual and multicultural discovery platform for the social sciences and humanities (SSH), called GoTriple. It will provide a single access point that allows you to explore, find, access and reuse materials such as literature, data, projects and researcher profiles at European scale.

The TRIPLE project is financed under the Horizon 2020 framework with approx. 5.6 million Euros for a duration of 42 months (2019–2023). It will be one of the dedicated services of OPERAS, the Research Infrastructure supporting open scholarly communication in the social sciences and humanities in the European Research Area.

TRIPLE consists of a consortium of 22 partners from 15 European countries and is coordinated from France by Huma-Num.
