We are pleased to welcome you to the final Gotriple Conference in Bonn. We want to share some travel information to make your stay more comfortable and enjoyable. In this Brochure, you will find important information regarding travelling to Bonn and where to stay.

First of all, we highly advise you to keep in mind that many restaurants and cafes in Germany accept cash only.

Covid Restrictions

As of the 1st of February, Covid Restrictions in Germany will be lifted.

Venue

Bonn Science Center (Wissenschaftszentrum)

As a central conference venue in the Bonn region and a location for many renowned science organizations, the Science Center stands for a unique communication concept: It offers science a platform for networking and dialogue with business, politics and the public.

The Bonn Science Center is conveniently located and easy to reach by car and public transport. It is connected via several highways, the railroad stations Bonn and Bonn-Bad Godesberg, and the airport Cologne/Bonn.

How to get to Bonn

From Düsseldorf Airport (DUS)

The easiest and fastest way to travel to Bonn from Düsseldorf Airport is to use the regional express train RB5, which departs every hour and connects the airport to Bonn central station in about an hour. A one-way ticket costs 19,60€ and needs to be purchased online. You can purchase a discounted city ticket for public transportation in Bonn along with your DB train ticket; it will be valid until 03.00 PM the next day. From Frankfurt International Airport (FRA)

The easiest way to travel to Bonn from Frankfurt International Airport is to use the InterCity Express train (ICE). First, you will need to get to Siegburg train station using ICE trains, then take the Tram 66 Bad Honnef and get off at Bonn central station. Additionally, you can purchase a discounted city ticket for public transportation in Bonn along with your DB train ticket; it will be valid until 03.00 PM the next day. From Köln/Bonn Airport (CGN)

We highly recommend getting a 24h BONN REGIO WELCOME CARD; with this ticket, you can use every means (excluding ICE) of transport in Bonn or/and Cologne for 24 hours and get discounts on various tourist attractions such as museums. You will need to renew the ticket every 24h. The tickets can be purchased using SWB: EASY GO app (available in English). Bus

SB60 Bonn Hbf 30 min. Köln/Bonn Airport Terminal 1/2 (bus stop 5) (BONN REGIO WELCOME CARD INCLUDES TICKETS FOR SB60)

Airport Express Bus SB60 provides the most uncomplicated transportation for most travellers between downtown Bonn and Cologne-Bonn Airport (CGN). SB60 runs every 30 minutes.
